Abstract
The recent approach of criticism in the Iranian contemporary literature, based on new methods of criticism, opposite to that of traditional one, has brought a new literary outlook. Drawing on the views of the Russian Formalists and G.Leech, English linguist, who use linguistic values in dealing with literature, the writer studies the linguistics characteristics of some works of Houshang Golshiri.
