چکیده
هدف پژوهش حاضر ارزیابی انتقادی نحوه‌ی کاربرد صافی فرهنگی در ترجمه‌ی انگلیسی کریس لیر و سهیلا سحابی (2000) از کتاب بچه‌های قالیباف‌خانه‌ی مرادی کرمانی (1379) است. بدین منظور، الگوی «تحلیل انتقادی» (خان‌جان، 1391، 1392) که بر بینان نظریِ زبان‌شناسی سازگانی- نقشگرا (هلیدی، 1994، 2004) می‌باشد به عنوان چارچوب تحلیلی انتخاب گردیده است. این الگو همزمان تحلیل عوامل درونزا و برونزا را مورد توجه قرار می‌دهد و هم به محصول ترجمه، هم به فرآیند ترجمه نظر دارد. ضمن ملاحظۀ دو فرض بنیادین «ترجمه به مثابه‌ی بافت‌آفرینی مجدد» و «ترجمه به مثابه‌ی تصفیه» که در الگوی تحلیل انتقادی ترجمه مدّ نظر بوده‌اند، این پژوهش با نحوه‌ی کاربرد صافی‌ فرهنگی از سوی مترجمان اثر و ویژگی‌های بافتی در نظام مقصد تناسب داشته و نیل به معیار تعادل نقشی را محقق ساخته است. پس از شناسایی این عبارت‌ها ، به بررسی عملکرد مترجمان کتاب در برگردان این کنش گفتاریِ پرداختیم تا ببینیم  از میان چهار راهکار «معادل‌سازیِ (توصیفی)»، «معادل‌یابیِ (فرهنگی)»، «رویکرد سلبی» (حذف) و «انتقال»، بیشتر از کدام راهکارها بهره جسته‌اند. محاسبۀ فراوانی  این راهکارها مبین آن بوده است که مترجمان در برگردان این کنش گفتاری به ترتیب از راهکارهای «معادل‌سازی»، «انتقال و «حذف» بیشترین استفاده را داشته‌اند و «معادل‌یابی» به‌کار گرفته نشده است.

چکیده English

  The present study aims at making a critical assessment of Chris Lear’s and Soheila Sahabi’s English translation (2000) of Houshang Moradi Kermani’s Carpet Weaving Factory Children (1980/2000). This article will specifically consider the translation of the terms "curse" as one of the examples of cultural-linguistic forms. To the task, Khanjan’s Critical Translation Analysis (CTA) Model (2012, 2013), which is primarily based on Halliday’s Systemic-Functional linguistics (1994, 2004) has been selected as the research analytical framework. This study aims to show how the use of cultural filtering by translators has been commensurate with the contextual characteristics of the destination system. After identifying these phrases and sentences, we examined the function of translators in translating this speech action. The calculation of the frequency and the percentage of the use of these quadruple strategies suggests that translators of the story have the most use of “Equivalent Finding", "transference," and elimination, respectively, in the conversion of curse. Moreover, the "Equivalence Making" strategy has not been implemented.
